Custody Attorney - Milton Ontario

Custody and access are companion terms to describe a parent's rights and responsibilities to their children.  Too often parents belief a loss of "custody" means a parent has lost all rights to have a relationship with their children.  Under law, "custody" is a more focussed term to describe the ability of one parent as opposed to the "access" or visiting parent to make major decisions affecting the children.  Many Judges have stated such major decisions do not occur frequently so parents should be less worried about the terminology and instead focus on building a health relationship with their children no matter which of the two households the children live.
